Stop guessing where your fuel is going
Octane connects to your fleet's OBD telemetry and delivers real-time theft detection, 30-day cost forecasts, and automated refill scheduling. Built for commercial fleet operators across MENA.
The Problem
Fleet fuel loss is invisible until it shows up in the budget
GPS tracks where trucks go. Standard fleet reports don't track what happens to fuel between the pump and the odometer.
Theft happens between checkpoints
Siphoning takes minutes at a rest stop or overnight in a depot. By the time monthly reconciliation runs, the pattern is buried in noise.
Budgets are set on last year's spend
Without per-vehicle consumption data, finance teams adjust last year's fuel number by a flat percentage. Route changes and aging vehicles make that number unreliable.
Refill timing is reactive
Drivers refuel when the gauge hits low, not when price and route conditions are favorable. Unplanned stops extend delivery windows and create audit gaps.
What Octane Does
Three systems running from one OBD connection
Octane processes each telemetry frame through detection, forecasting, and scheduling pipelines simultaneously.
Theft and Siphoning Detection
Every unexplained fuel drop triggers an analysis window: engine load, vehicle speed, GPS position, and ambient conditions are checked before an alert is issued. Legitimate consumption is separated from anomalous events using rolling per-vehicle baselines.
Fuel Cost Forecasting
A 30-day rolling consumption model runs per vehicle, incorporating route distance, load weight, engine efficiency, and fuel price feeds. The result is a defensible budget figure updated daily, not a flat extrapolation from last month.
Refill Scheduling
Octane calculates the optimal refill window based on current tank level, upcoming route distance, and approved station proximity. Scheduled refills reduce unplanned stops and give dispatch teams 24-hour visibility into refueling needs.
How It Works
From OBD frame to actionable intelligence
Connect the hardware
Plug the Octane OBD reader into each vehicle's diagnostic port. The device captures fuel level, engine RPM, speed, and GPS position at 10-second intervals and transmits over cellular.
Telemetry is processed in real time
Each incoming frame passes through the anomaly detection pipeline, the per-vehicle consumption model, and the refill scheduler. Alerts are generated within 30 seconds of an anomalous event.
Fleet managers act on insights
The dashboard surfaces theft alerts, 30-day cost forecasts, and scheduled refill windows. Dispatch teams see upcoming needs 24 hours ahead; finance gets per-vehicle fuel cost data for budget planning.
Early Access Program
Built for fleet operators ready to see the full picture
Octane is currently onboarding fleet operators for early access. Early-access participants work directly with our engineering team to configure detection thresholds, integrate with existing dispatch software, and shape the product roadmap.
Dedicated setup support
Our team handles hardware provisioning and system configuration. You are connected and processing telemetry within 48 hours of device shipment.
Direct engineering access
Early-access participants have a direct line to the product team. Detection thresholds, alert routing, and dashboard views can be tuned to your fleet's specific operating patterns.
Transparent pricing from day one
Early-access pricing is fixed for the duration of the program. No surprise increases when the product moves to general availability.
Influence the product
Operating context in MENA fleets is different from Western fleet management tooling. Early-access participants shape the features that reflect that reality.
Transparent, per-vehicle pricing
Starting from $19 per vehicle per month. No platform fees, no per-alert charges. Pricing scales with your fleet size.
